Well, we are currently recruiting for a Physician Recruitment Advisor. This isn’t your typical recruitment gig. This is one where you can truly feel good about coming to work and make a meaningful difference to ensure that those who require care in our community receive it. How? Through identifying, recruiting, and hiring the best physicians for Vancouver Coastal Health. This is a new role for the health authority that will be dedicated to physician recruitment across a number of specialties. In your role, there will be diversity in the work; you will develop and strengthen relationships with medical leadership and operational leadership; and ensure that a robust pipeline is established so that VCH remains ahead of the curve with its physician recruitment needs.
We are looking for someone who brings a solid track record of senior level recruitment experience, preferably in the physician space from a search firm/agency or a large complex in-house environment. If you do not have physician specific experience, then you are a senior recruitment professional who has worked with senior candidates/clients and have a passion and interest to contribute to healthcare. From research, sourcing, interviewing and managing search committees, you are confident in your ability to quickly build rapport and motivated by the thrill of finding “the one”. You bring a strong and sincere customer service ethos and are a go-getter that is well-spoken, polished, and calm under pressure. You are genuinely curious to learn about people and have a strong ability to ask the right questions and build trust so that candidates and clients see you as their trusted advisor.
