As A Family Physician - Emergency with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:

  • Provide regular clinic, emergency and inpatient care combined Nuxalk First Nation and non-aboriginal community.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Advanced Trauma life Support (ATLS)
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine – Desired
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Emergency Experience

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Cultural competency
  • Consistent ability to work harmoniously as a team member
