Come work as a Family Practitioner with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

Yúustway Health & Wellness Centre (Kal’numet Primary Care Clinic) is located on Squamish Nation reserve near Park Royal Shopping Centre. The 0.7FTE position available is a PCN contracted opportunity. The clinic currently operates 5 days a week with Physicians, Naturopathic Physician, Nurse Practitioner’s, MOA’s, Public Health Nurses, Traditional Healers and Elders and a clinic manager.

 

The Kal’numet Primary Care Clinic is a part of the larger Yúustway Health & Wellness department which encompasses its own Mental Health and Wellness team, Home and Community Care program and Health benefits and advocacy. Kal’numet Primary Care Clinic is in need of GP’s with a strong interest and dedication to First Nations health care.

Qualifications

 

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Experienced in providing culturally safe and informed medical care

 

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a team to provide collaborative care
  • Ability to prescribe OAT or at minimum, ready to quickly step into the funded training currently available to learn how to prescribe OAT
