Come work as a General Adult Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

Join our mental health team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast! This is a hospital-based position in Powell River, BC, where two full time adult psychiatrists will serve diverse mental health and addiction needs. Combination outpatient and inpatient (7 bed psychiatric unit). No overhead. No call. Comprehensive allied health care supports on site, including ACT, ICMT, child psychiatry, counselling, and close collaborative care with family physicians, nurse practitioners and specialists. ECT provided on site. If you enjoy fast paced, acute, and varied team-based work, this position is for you! Applicants with leadership and quality/program improvement experience or training would be a bonus. CME and physician leadership education incentives available.

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
