Come work as a Dermatologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

Seeking a Dermatologist for the Richmond community who will serve as Consulting medical staff at the Hospital. There is currently only one part time dermatologist working in Richmond. There is an active community of Dermatologists in surrounding communities that would provide collegial support for young dermatologists interested in starting a practice in Richmond.

 

The Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited, 228 acute care bed facility serving a local population of 200,000 with an additional catchment area of almost 120,000. The City of Richmond is a unique island city located on Canada’s Pacific Coast, in close proximity to downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver International Airport and the U.S. border. Richmond is an ethnically diverse centre with a growing population and one of the fastest growing seniors population in the province.

 

CPSBC Provisional Licensure option available for a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident who requires Health Authority Sponsorship until they obtain their full licensure. At this time, we are not accepting applications of physicians who would require a work permit.

 

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
