Reporting to the Director, this position leads the design, development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of a multipronged orientation and education program designed to build the capacity of clinical managers to operationally manage their respective clinical settings to meet organizational targets, manage large spans of leadership, enhance patient care outcomes, and successfully implement transformational change. Builds expertise in operational management that includes staff, performance, patient flow, and financial management. Implements processes for conducting individual learning assessments and uses the information to tailor an orientation and an education program to meet to individual requirements within the context of their clinical area of focus. Leads coaching and mentoring to support implementation of new learning into practice and engages supervisors and operational leaders in planning and feedback opportunities as appropriate; thereby supporting the ability of clinical leaders to make effective operational decisions. Acts as a specialty resource for leadership and organizational development issues. Primary contacts are with Clinical operational Directors/ leaders, senior clinical/ professional practice leaders, educators, and Employee Engagement staff. Represents the team on internal/external working groups and committees as required.
