Thursdays 0945 - 1800, Fridays 0845 to 1700
May be required to work weekends and evenings based on operational needs.
In accordance with the visions and values of the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Richmond Health Services, and within the context of a client and family centered care model and within the established standards of professional practice and the vision and values of the organization, the Dental Hygienist, working collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides oral health prevention and promotion services such acting as a clinical resource to staff and preparing and presenting talks to community groups on oral health issues. Consults with client’s family/friends about caring for client’s teeth and makes recommendations for follow up care.
