Job Title: Culture Transformation Advisor

Job Summary:

Reporting into the Manager, Culture & Change, the Culture Transformation Advisor will be the go-to person for providing hands on strategic change support and leadership for transformational projects across the organization. They are an internal culture and innovation catalyst, project leader and facilitator dedicated to creating a healthy and vibrant workplace through key culture programs including recognition and high performance programs. The position supports the goals and objectives of senior management through interventions such as change management processes, strategy, planning facilitation, stakeholder engagement, project management, continuous improvement and process redesign, role clarification, team building and leadership development. They work with stakeholders at all levels and inspire others to achieve goals and deliverables to facilitate consensus, consult, negotiate and share information. This advisor is the go-to person for providing hands-on culture transformation support, drawing upon other resources in the team and across Employee Engagement (EE) departments as needed.



Qualifications and Expertise:

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Leadership, Organizational Development, Health Sciences, supplemented with seven (7) years’ recent, related experience in, project leadership, strategy development and implementation, recognition strategy and program design, change and project management, facilitation, organizational development, high performance programs and performance management systems, and training and development of staff or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Expertise:

 

  • Demonstrated ability to provide senior advisory services and consultation to leaders throughout VCH utilizing strong communication skills and the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management and organizational development principles and practices.
  • Utilizes strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and project management skills to lead change processes.
  • Utilizes innovation, systems thinking and creativity in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Utilizes initiative, vision, storytelling, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans, and realize project completion and sustainment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategies and programs that create high-performing cultures, including performance management, and rewards and recognition programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply various project management methodologies in the design and development of various programs, frameworks and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skill in operational management, strategy deployment of recognition or performance management programs, and leadership development as well as an understanding of health care disciplines and networking abilities to provide high level consulting services.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply superior judgment, tact, and political expertise to communicate sensitive information to, and collaborate with, a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize superior team building, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills to facilitate critical thinking and creative problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster creativity and innovation in strategic planning involving cultural shifts and large scale change.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
