Reporting to the Regional Director, Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations, and working in a collaborative team environment, the Leader, Community Engagement provides works within the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Community Engagement team to enhance and promote stakeholder engagement in health service planning and decision-making.
The Leader is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating VCH stakeholder engagement activities such as public and patient consultations to support organization and program strategy, as well as the development of digital engagement strategies to augment existing engagement processes.
The Leader works primarily with VCH regional teams as a resource to planning teams and organizational leaders in developing engagement strategies to support health systems improvement, planning, policy and strategy development.

As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
