Come work as a Dermatologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
Richmond Hospital is seeking a Dermatologist who will provide consults for urgent cases and referrals from Richmond Hospital or Richmond Urgent Primary Care Centre. The successful candidate will maintain an independent community practice to support these consults and accept urgent referrals on a part-time basis, approximately one day every one to two weeks. Referred consults can be done either in the community practice or at the hospital. These urgent consults will offer exposure to a broader range of patients, including more complex cases than typically seen in a standard dermatology clinic, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and variety. This role offers an opportunity to serve a growing and diverse population while collaborating with an active network of dermatologists in surrounding communities.
The Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited, 253 acute care bed facility serving a local population of 200,000 with an additional catchment area of almost 120,000. The City of Richmond is a unique island city located on Canada’s Pacific Coast, in close proximity to downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver International Airport and the U.S. border. Richmond is an ethnically diverse centre with a growing population and one of the fastest growing seniors population in the province.
