It’s an exciting time to join the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Communications team. We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional to lead and support the launch of an integrated Recruitment & Retention Marketing & Communications Strategy.
The Communications Leader S,pecial Projects will oversee the implementation of an integrated Recruitment & Retention Marketing & Communications Strategy that recognizes, celebrates and inspires healthcare workers to be a part of oneVCH and to align their purpose-driven values with those of our deeply committed 26,000 strong team. The Leader will be responsible for ensuring VCH is promoted as an employer of choice as a world-class innovator in medical care, research and teaching.
The Leader is a resourceful, creative, and customer-focused individual capable of seeing the big picture and yet not shy about rolling up his/her sleeves to work shoulder-to-shoulder with team members to implement tactics and meet deadlines. The Leader should be a dynamic self-starter capable of prioritizing competing deadlines, able to connect the dots between the various teams involved and confidently deliver sound marketing and communications advice.
While leading the implementation of VCH’s Recruitment & Retention Marketing & Communications Strategy is the primary accountability for this role, the successful candidate may be asked to support other similar marketing or communications initiatives at VCH as workload permits.

As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
