We are seeking full-time Emergency Physicians to join our team. Live your dream in vibrant small-town BC! This position requires an Emergency Physician to work a variety of shifts. Come join a dedicated cohort in a well-supported emergency department. You'll collaborate with specialists in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, OBGYN, Psychiatry, and Ophthalmology, and embrace the many rewards of a small-town lifestyle. Emergency Physicians require current certification in ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NRP.

 

We operate as four shifts per day, one of which is double-coverage during the busiest daytime hours. Exact shifts/hours may vary based on department need.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Mandatory
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) - Mandatory
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine - Desired
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) - Mandatory
