Vancouver Coastal Health – Richmond seeks a community orthopaedic surgeon with sub-specialty training and interest in orthopaedic trauma to join a group of 6. Further subspecialty interest in hip and knee arthroplasty would be an asset but not a requirement. They must be FRCSC certified and eligible to practice in BC. The successful applicant would provide 1:7 call and trauma services at a community hospital level. The successful candidate will be expected to help manage complex fractures of the extremities excluding pelvis and hand. Their elective surgical practice would involve primarily hip and knee arthroplasty. Richmond Hospital is affiliated with the University of British Columbia. Student/Resident teaching is encouraged.
