Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to the join the team at the Richmond Bridge House short stay mental health crisis intervention facility in Richmond, BC. Apply today to join our team!
As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status will be required.
As an LPN at Richmond Bridge House you will:
Work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team performing full scope of practical nursing functions as outlined by BCCNM for clients with predictable outcomes within a crisis short stay facility.
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document client care, and provide support to clients and their families.
Assist the Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.
