Come work as a General Practitioner with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
The physician working in this program will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals to serve a vulnerable population. The site provides a patient-centred, geriatric-focused environment where assessments and management can be done thoroughly and progress can be monitored. These patients are under the care of the GP MRP and have the availability of consulting Geriatric Psychi patients on your panel
Education, Licensing, & Experience:
He or she will report to the Program Medical Director, Community Geriatric Health Services, the STAT Centre Medical Coordinator, and through them to the Senior Medical Director, Vancouver Community. All VCH physicians must be appointed as medical staff of Vancouver Coastal Health. A clinical faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine is desired as resident supervision and involvement in education initiatives is an expectation.
