The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lions Gate Hospital is recruiting a full time Ob/Gyn to fill one position. The start date can be flexible if requested by the successful candidate. Call obligation will be 1 in 8. Strong interest and skills in general obstetrics and gynaecology would be an asset. Our Obstetric Unit delivers on average 1400 mothers a year. The Ob/Gyn Department is affiliated with the University of British Columbia and the members have Clinical Faculty appointments at UBC and are involved in medical student and resident education.
Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver has 269 acute care beds, provides comprehensive care to the residents of North and West Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast and the Sea to Sky corridor through a variety of secondary and tertiary treatment programs. This is a very rewarding position with a diverse medical practice in a highly valued and collegial environment. The backdrop of the beautiful North Shore mountains and the proximity to skiing, mountain-biking and hiking make this a very attractive location for those who love the outdoors.”
