Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Manager, Change Management to work on a Human Capital Management System (HCMS) project with the People team. Apply today to join our team!  

 

As a Manager, Change Management, HCMS Project with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

  • Lead the change management efforts for VCH’s Human Capital Management System (HCMS) transition to Workday.
  • Play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of our organization to the new HCMS platform by effectively managing the people side of change.
  • Provide leadership for all activities associated with the development of related change management plans, collaborate with the VCH Leads for the Provincial HCM Centre of Excellence, and other VCH People team leaders to drive change management integration and to evaluate progress against project objectives.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive change management plans, change impact assessment, risk management, engagement, and communications strategy, and reporting to the appropriate internal/ external partners, including the Director People Experience, and Vice President of the People team.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education training and experience equivalent to a degree in business administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of five (5) years proven experience in change management roles, preferably within the context of large Human Resources and/or technology projects.

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens.
  • Practices the recognition, inclusion and support of all types and aspects of diversity at all stages of engagement, with an understanding of the issues faced by people from equity-deserving groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including communication, training, and resistance management strategies.
  • Experience working with modern integrated cloud-based human capital management system such as Workday is preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving successful change initiatives in large, complex organizational environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty with confidence.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and relevant software applications including MS Office applications, and human capital management systems. Knowledge of Workday is an asset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills that promote a respectful, motivating, and empowering work environment, where individual competencies can thrive.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
