Come work as a Neurologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The UBC Headache Clinic is seeking an FRCPC certified Neurologist eligible for independent practice in BC with fellowship training in headache medicine. The successful candidate will be able to practice subspecialty headache neurology in the outpatient clinic of the UBC Hospital. The neurologist will also be expected to participate in the general neurology service for Vancouver General Hospital where 30+ neurologists share neurology ward and consultation services, as well as on-call coverage for UBC Hospital. Neurology service at Vancouver General Hospital involves serving as MRP and consultant for complex hospital neurology cases.  Teaching responsibilities will include teaching of medical students, neurology residents, and neurology fellows. Income will be derived from Medical Services Plan (MSP) billing and Medical On Call Availability Plan (MOCAP).

Minimum 1 year Headache Fellowship. UBC Hospital and VH are teaching hospitals and therefore teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is mandatory.

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory
• FRCPC Neurology with a minimum 1-year Headache Fellowship- Mandatory
