As the Team Manager, Acute Care Design Team you will:

  • Oversee and be responsible to ensure best practices and flexibility for future innovations in care are reflected in the design, testing, integration, implementation and integrated work across teams throughout the length of the project, and that project deliverables are met within the assigned timelines.
  • In collaboration with other CST Team Coordinators and the Service Provider, ensure Clinical Process is the foundation for all phases of the Clinical & Systems Transformation project (CST) across Providence Health Care (PHC), Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) with the goal of improving clinical workflows.

About the Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) Project


The Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) Project is one of the largest health care projects in British Columbia's history. It is a joint undertaking between Vancouver Coastal Health, the Provincial Health Services Authority and Providence Health Care to complete a significant transformation of clinical practices and systems. This is an exciting initiative that will deliver key benefits for our patients, health care providers and health organizations.



Education & Experience

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years' recent, leadership or related experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Demonstrated supervision, leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team and fostering a respectful, motivating and supportive environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean or related process improvement principles.
  • Proven ability to engage and coordinate activities within a work setting.
  • Proven ability to generate required outcomes from initiatives with specific purpose.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict effectively.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
