Status: Temporary Full Time
Start Date: As soon as possible until return of incumbent (indefinite end date)
Salary: $37.82 - $46.95 per hour


Days off: Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays

Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Physiotherapist to join the Regional Physiotherapy team as a Clinical Resource Therapist focused in Cardiology / Respiratory / Chronic Disease Populations. Apply today to join our team!


As a Clinical Resource Therapist with VCH you will:

  • Act as the Clinical Resource Therapist specializing in interventions related to cardiology/ respiratory/ chronic disease populations from a physiotherapy perspective.
  • Provide consultation and clinical guidance for PTs working with this population across the health authority; analyse literature and trends, develop clinical practice guidelines and recommend changes to modify/change current clinical practices.
  • Initiate and participate in knowledge translation activities and facilitate an evidence based culture and community of practice.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Physiotherapy, supplemented with a Masters’ degree in Rehabilitation Science, Health Care Management/Leadership or Education, plus five (5) years' recent, related experience as an advanced practitioner and/or clinical instructor in interventions related to cardiology/ respiratory/ chronic disease populations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Licensed with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia. Suggested membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the PT Association of BC.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
