Job Summary

Come work as a Family Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

Vancouver Coastal Health has multiple opportunities across British Columbia: Vancouver, Richmond, North Shore, Sea-to-Sky Corridor, Sunshine Coast, Powell River, Bella Bella and Bella Coola.

 

At VCH we have a broad range of healthcare opportunities for trained Family Physicians. We own and operate Primary Care centres which can involve working closely with unhoused and under-housed patients as well as those with complex psychosocial and clinical needs. In 2024, we will be opening Longitudinal Community Primary Care clinics where patients will be cared for in a team-based setting. We also have opportunities within Urgent Primary Care Centres (UPCC), complex care housing, addiction services, long-term care, palliative care, geriatric medicine, low-risk obstetrical care as well as much more. We offer plenty of work locations with opportunities in community clinics or hospital settings, large urban centres or small towns, the coast or mountains.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Provisional

  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory

  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory

  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Eligilble
