Come work as Lung Transplant Respirologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for a Lung Transplant Respirologist. This position is at Vancouver General Hospital.

 

We expect the incumbent to obtain a Clinical Faculty position within the Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine, and University of British Columbia (UBC). 

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC – Full or Provisional
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Desired
  • As least one year of structured transplant respirology training (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Several years experience in all aspects of the clinical management of lung transplant patients (pre-transplant assessment, peri-operative and long-term management) as well as donor assessment.
  • Interest/experience in teaching, clinical research and/or quality improvement would be an asset.
