Come work as a Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

We are seeking two new psychiatrists with a background in child & youth training to work within the North Shore Child & Youth Mental Health Services Program. Candidates should have completed two full years of training in child & youth psychiatry, however individuals with less training will be considered on a case by case basis.

 

The successful applicant would work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical treatment team providing direct assessments for patients/clients/families and would have opportunities to serve various program areas within the North Shore including community, acute and tertiary services. There is also an opportunity to hold a clinical faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia and be active in teaching residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory
