The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) invites applications for an Infectious Diseases Physician. It is expected that the physician recruited will also be recommended for a Clinical Faculty position with the University of British Columbia, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, based at VGH, which is a part of Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC in Infectious Diseases. They must have formal training in Infectious Diseases. Clinical experience is valued. They must also be able to collaborate with other divisions and allied health. The successful candidate will be a full member of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vancouver General Hospital with participation on the general Infectious Diseases consult service and the after-hours and/or weekend call pool. This will include inpatient and outpatient care responsibilities. They will also be expected to participate in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching activities of the Division and Department. Additional clinical or academic training is valued.
This position will be a clinical appointment at Vancouver General Hospital within the Division of Infectious Diseases.
