    We are looking for a new Director, Inpatient and Urgent Psychiatry Services, Vancouver Community reporting to the Executive Director, Vancouver Community.

     

    The opportunity:

    As Director of a large portfolio – 89 inpatient beds and urgent services including the Assertive Community Treatment team, Assertive Outreach team and the Access and Assessment Centre– it will be important to ensure good flow and transitions for clients including to other community services. You will be accountable for the overall operational management and strategic direction for all designated clinical areas.  Working as a team player with colleagues and coworkers, you will work to identify service delivery models and processes that will foster partnerships and establish systems that facilitate optimal service delivery and prioritize client and family priorities. In doing so, you will also lead a strategy aimed  to reduce service gaps, ensure continuity of care, project future needs and recommend and implement new initiatives, programs and services.
